The Movement is now ready to hit the road and will play their first show after the break November 3rd in Hannover at Bei Chez Heinz.
They will continue touring around Germany in november & december, see the whole tour HERE
The line-up is:
Lukas Sherfey: Guitar and vocal
Stefan Andersen: Drums (Stefan played on the "Revolutionary Sympathies" album and also on a lot of Movement tours)
Chandu Chodavarapu: Bass (Chandu played bass live with Lukas Sherfey)
The Movement is excited to go on tour again and you can excpect an energetic and powerfull live performance with old songs as well as new material!

After a break with different solo projects etc, the Movement is back and ready to MOVE!
With the European welfare systems in decline, and the global economic crisis, it is our job to bring hope, unity and good music back to the people!
The Movement is currently working on new songs for a new album, planned to be released somewhere in 2011. More info about that soon.

LUKAS SHERFEY ELECTED TO PLAY THE ZITTY SHOW
Lukas Sherfey has been elected by the readers of the Berlin magazine "Zitty" to play at the Maria am Ostbahnhof in Berlin.
The concert will take place November 6th and Lukas will do an acoustic show.

LUKAS SHERFEY'S DEBUT ALBUM
Finally it's recorded! SOUL VACATION - the debut album of Lukas Sherfey. The musicians on the album are the backing band of James Morrison(UK). It is recorded in Copenhagen at Soundscape Studio, produced by Kristoffer Sonne, mixed and mastered by Flemming Hansson. Listen to some of the new songs here on this site and on the myspace profile. There is no release date yet, but more news will follow.

RECORDINGS
SOUL VACATION is the title of the new album from Lukas Sherfey. The recordings of the Lukas Sherfey debut album are now finished. 11 songs has been recorded in January in Copenhagen at Soundscape Studio. The production has been huge; horns, violins, piano / organs, female backing vocals, percussion / glockenspiel etc. REAL SOUL STYLE! The mixing and mastering of the album will start February 11 th and continue at least two weeks ahead. It will be done in Copenhagen by Flemming Hansson at Sweep studio. Meanwhile Lukas will travel to Rome and do a photo shoot in classic European surroundings.

STUDIO TIME
Lukas Sherfey has just finished his acoustic support tour for the Uruguayen La Vela Puerca and it was a great success, lots of people and lots of joy.
NOW IT'S TIME! Lukas will record his solo album in January 2008 in Copenhagen. The album will be produced by the great Kristoffer Sonne (drummer from James Morrison among others) who also will play the drums on the record. It is expected to be released around May 1st 2008. "There will be no such thing as human rights when we walk into that studio.
